Eligibility Criteria for Para Kickboxing
Before enrolling in a Para Kickboxing program, it is important to understand the eligibility criteria that participants must meet. Para Kickboxing is a modified version of traditional kickboxing that is adapted for individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. As such, participants must have a documented disability or impairment to qualify for this program. The disability may include but is not limited to Autism, intellectual or learning disability, amputations, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, and visual impairments.
In addition to having a documented disability, participants must also have the physical capability to safely engage in Para Kickboxing activities. This means that individuals must be able to follow instructions, have suitable coordination, and be able to move independently. It is essential for participants to have a level of physical fitness that allows them to engage in the various drills, exercises, and techniques involved in Para Kickboxing.
Overall, the eligibility criteria for Para Kickboxing are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. By meeting these criteria, individuals can fully benefit from the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of Para Kickboxing training.
